Extra time testing
We help students experiencing difficulties in school or with standardized testing, as well as their parents, to better understand their unique abilities and learning styles, so they can get the services they need to thrive in their academic environment. We can provide first-time diagnoses, or reevaluate and clarify former diagnoses for the purposes of providing up-to-date data to the student, family, and school.
Psychoeducational Evaluations
A psychoeducational evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of the psychological aspects of learning and of academic skills.

Memory disorders
Emotional disorders, such as anxiety
And more
Testing accommodations include extended testing time, testing in a separate proctored exam room, reduced distraction testing environments, stop-the-clock breaks, and use of a computer (for written portions).

coordination
Academic skills include:

For elementary school through college, psychoeducational evaluations for ADHD or learning disabilities may be necessary to ensure the student is getting the accommodations they need to optimize their learning abilities and perform and function well, both in school and in life.
IQ Testing
Intelligence Quotient (IQ) testing is also known as cognitive testing or intellectual testing. It’s a method used by psychologists and physicians to determine a person’s intelligence level. IQ testing is commonly used for adolescents and teens entering private schools or boarding schools, where high intelligence and academic achievement levels are required.
As with any psychological test, IQ testing should not be relied upon as the sole method of testing. It can, however, be useful in determining learning strengths and weaknesses when combined with other academic tests and conducted by a professional trained in psychological development.
IQ testing and academic testing can help with school admissions, school accommodations for students with learning disabilities, and to determine eligibility for certain educational programs.
Neuropsychological Assessments
Neuropsychological assessment is no new fad. Standardized tests and procedures have been used since the 1940s to measure various cognitive functions such as:
attention
concentration
memory
intelligence
executive functioning
academic skills
sensory and motor skills
emotional functioning
Neuropsychological assessments can be helpful in diagnosing and better understanding ADHD, learning disabilities, and personality disorders.
Our comprehensive analysis includes these components of Neuropsychological Evaluation:
IQ testing
Educational testing – reading, writing, math
Executive functioning
